Terms & Conditions

CHILDREN AT Adelaide Cosmetic & Laser Clinic

It is not safe for children under the age of 16 to be in our treatment rooms. Children can be in the waiting areas but please note we do not provide any supervision and ACLC will not be liable for any mishaps. It is strongly encouraged not to bring children for appointments.

PURCHASE AND REDEMPTION OF TREATMENT

  • We require a minimum of 48 hours notice to cancel an appointment. Cancellations and no-shows within 48 hours will result in the retention of any deposits made, or the forfeit of the pre-paid treatment. No shows after confirmation within 24 hours will receive a cancellation fee notice.
  • Refunds will be provided where required by Australian Consumer Law. Refunds are not applicable for change of mind.
  • You agree to be bound by these conditions by purchasing pre-paid treatments.

PURCHASE OF RETAIL PRODUCTS

  • Refunds will be provided where required by Australian Consumer Law. Refunds are not applicable for change of mind and/or possible allergic reaction.
  • You agree to be bound by these conditions by purchasing retail product.

ADVERSE REACTION POLICY

In the unlikely event that you experience a side effect, ACLC will require up to 8 weeks to investigate your concern. ACLC require your full co-operation during this time, which may include weekly consultations for assessment, additional treatments and products (purchased by the client) as advised by your trained technician.

PRICE BEAT POLICY

We will beat a competitor’s advertised pricing on like for like services on the day of purchase. We do not encourage clients to go back and forth with competitor and ACLC.

  • Competitor must be located within the local area ie: not interstate. Must be within 10km radius of ACLC redeeming ‘Price Beat’.
  • May only purchase the same volume of skin treatments as advertised by the competitor. (ie, Can’t purchase 10 of an introductory single treatment price).
  • In every instance pricing must be cross checked and confirmed as an advertised price on the competitor’s website or via phone directly with the competitor.
  • The client must disclose their request for a ‘Price Beat’ prior to treatment. The price beat is valid only on the day of purchase and will not be changed for prices that are published after the pre-paid purchases.

 
LASER HAIR REMOVAL

  • Will ‘Price Beat’ on all medical grade laser technology but not on using machines like IPL (We use medical grade Cutera machines)

ACLC GIFT CARDS

All gift vouchers must be sold by ACLC.
Gift vouchers expire 12 months after date of purchase gift vouchers are non-refundable.

Treat this card like cash. Defaced, mutilated, altered, lost or stolen cards will not be replaced, refunded, or redeemed. This card is: Redeemable for merchandise or services at ACLC. Not redeemable for cash; Must be redeemed before the expiry date shown on the card; Will be void and will not be redeemed after expiry date.

Unused balance on expiry of this card will not be refunded or credited. Purchases exceeding available balance require difference to be paid by other methods. We reserve the right to change any terms contained in these Terms and Conditions of Use.

PROMOTIONS

All promotions and offers are done at the discretion of Adelaide Cosmetic and Laser Clinic. The company reserves the right to amend, suspend or refuse the offers at any time.

Changed your mind?

We do not refund for change of mind, if you found it cheaper elsewhere, decided you simply don’t like it or have no use for it! Here’s a closer look.

Cancellations and Refunds

  • Treatments/services are not transferable to other individuals or clinics.
  • We require at least 48 hours notice to be given for any appointment date change or cancellation.
  • If you change or cancel your appointment within 48 hours of your appointment date, or do not attend a booked appointment, we reserve the right to retain your deposit or apply a cancellation fee of 50% of the treatment cost.
  • In the case of pre-paid treatments, the full cost of treatment will be forfeited.
  • Refunds will be provided where required in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law. We want you to be a satisfied client so if our service or product is faulty it may either be replaced or refunded. We don’t refund for change of mind.
  • Our procedures and products may not be suitable for you and whilst all due care and skill is exercised in treating our clients ultimately it is your responsibility to determine if the product or treatment is right for you.
  • In order for us to provide you with a great service it is fundamental that you provide all information requested in completing consent forms or advising us of any factors that may affect your treatments. You also need to have realistic expectations of the results of treatment. We encourage you to work with your therapist or health professional on what you can achieve with your treatment.


Prepaid Treatment

  • If you pre-pay for treatments you will save an amount according to the pre-payment schedule. There is no refund on pre-pays and they are not transferable to other individuals, treatment areas or clinics.
  • Validity of prepaid treatments for laser treatments is 12 months and skin treatments is 6 months.
  • 48 hours notice is required for any pre-paid appointment cancellations. If you cancel a pre-paid appointment within 48 hours, or do not attend the appointment, the treatment will be forfeited.
  • You agree to these terms by purchasing pre-paid treatments.


Purchases made through Customer Portal Online

  • Treatments purchased online by you through the Customer Portal, continue to be regulated by ACLC conditions of use; Privacy policy; Cancellation and refund policy.
    Treatments purchased online are not transferable to other individuals, treatment areas or clinics.
  • 48 hours notice is required for any online purchased treatment appointment cancellations. If you cancel an online purchased treatment appointment within 48 hours, or do not attend the appointment, the treatment will be forfeited.
  • Refunds will be provided where required in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law. We want you to be a satisfied client so if our service or product is faulty it may either be replaced or refunded.
  • We don’t refund for change of mind, however we may use our discretion if we believe the treatments purchased by you, cannot be provided to you (eg, your skin type might be deemed as unsuitable for the treatment you purchased).
  • Any request for refund by you, for treatments purchased online through your customer portal, must be made in writing and issued to: info@aclc.com.au for our consideration. The clinic may decide, upon review of your written request, whether a refund is required.
